I didn’t discover Trader Joe’s until I moved to California. The closest Trader Joe’s to my hometown in Michigan was too far for groceries so I never experienced the magic of TJ’s growing up. When we moved out west, I kept hearing all about this cult-following grocery store and I decided to give it a go. My husband and I both quickly fell in love with the chain and so many of its store-brand products have become staples in our home. 

TJ’s has so many unique products that you can’t find (or at least not a version that actually tastes good) anywhere else. They have some products from other brands/distributors, but Trader Joe’s is our fave because of their store brand line. We have said goodbye to so many other brands and given a warm welcome to the TJ option. Each time I make a TJ’s run, I like to pick up at least a couple of new products to try along with the regular products we love. 

There’s a long list of grocery products I’m dying to try but I have to pace myself so that I don’t overeat or overindulge on TJ’s goodies. My to-try list only keeps growing, because Trader Joe’s comes out with new products monthly and brings back some amazing seasonal products as well.

When it comes to Trader Joe’s, I not only love to eat but I also love to shop. It’s not as tedious for me as it is picking up our regular groceries from Ralph’s. I find it so much fun to see what’s new in-store and get my hands on the seasonal exclusives. For my family, Trader Joe’s is a blessing that every member, including my gorgeous golden retriever, loves.
